The Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund has also been involved in advocating for the rights of immigrants. The organization operates by donating money to other organizations that fight for the rights of immigrants. Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund were founded by Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin.

The two are reporters as well as the founders of Phoenix New Times. The two reporters were arrested after writing a story about the Arizona Sheriff. They won their case against Arizona County and were awarded a resettlement amount of $3.75 million. They used the money to fund organizations championing for the human rights of immigrants.
